Happy Easter 2009 !!!!!!As you celebrate Easter ... I'd like to remind you to thank God for the sacrifice he made. We all love our kids ... and none of us would put our child in harm's way ... especially to save someone else. But that is exactly what God did. God allowed His Son to die on the cross, so that we could all have the opportunity to be forgiven for our sins, and live Eternally with God.
WOW !!!! What an amazing sacrifice.
"For God so loved the world, he gave is only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
What an amazing love God has for us. What a miracle worker God is ... see the power of Christ is not in his death ... but in his resurrection. Jesus died a human death...he could have called angels to rescue him. He could have destroyed those who persecuted him, yet he shed his blood to save every man, woman, and child from sin. He lay in the grave ... but then he triumphed over evil ... and over death ... and he rose on the 3rd day !!!
Our God is a wonderful God ... and with God .. ALL things are possible !!!
