GREAT WEEK !!!!

ok ... this has been a GREAT week !!!!!

Monday
... Dancing with the Stars and the Bachelor premiered ... finally some of my favorite tv shows are back on.

Tuesday ... 09/25
... It's my Birthday !!!! I turned 35. I got roses from my friend Anthony. I got a gift certificate from my friend Judy for dinner at a steakhouse. She also made a great breakfast casserole and coffee cake and brought to work for us to eat for breakfast. I went out to dinner with my friend Lisa ... she had a birthday last week so we celebrated both.

Wednesday
... I'm still celebrating. I went out to eat with my friends ... the Browns ... mom and dad, my sister, brother-in-law, and my niece. (my nephew stood me up to go to a youth activity at church ... can't be to mad about that)
I got balloons, a pretty angel with the serenity prayer (and trust me ... the serentiy prayer is something I need during this L O N G wait !!!!), a snow-baby plaque that says "Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep", and a little willow tree angel box. I also got a garage door opener for my mom and dad's house ... I know ... sounds wierd, but I NEEDED A NEW GARAGE DOOR OPENER !!!!!!!! My sister and brother-in-law bought my dinner.
After dinner, we went to Mom and Dad's house for my birthday cake ... LEMON JELLO CHEESECAKE. It is my favorite dessert ever!!!! I can eat the entire 9x13 pan by myself. YUM-O !!!!!!
I also received my Cyber Shower buddy gift.

Thursday
... At 1:11 a.m. I realized that my Dossier is out of the review room ... That made my week !!!
I went to Starbucks for coffee on the way to work, and my friend Christy was ahead of me in the drive-thru ... she bought my coffee and muffin as a celebration treat.

I have such good friends. I am so lucky !!!!!!!!!

September Cyber Shower Gift

Our September Cyber Shower theme was learning toys .. This is the gift I received. The cd player teaches 5 animals and sings 5 nursery rhymes. The Little Music player plays 10 different songs .. some upbeat versions of old nursery rhymes. Aren't these cute. I had the best time playing with them. Thanks Slauenwhite Family !!!!

New Business

Hello ... well ... it has been 13 months since my Log In. No new news to report...although my paperwork is in the review room now.

To help me pass the time, and earn some extra adoption money (and have a little fun too) I have decided to become a BeautiControl consultant.

BeautiControl is a Dallas based cosmetics company that provides spa quality skin care items in the luxury of your own home. So ... Friends ... Relatives ... Countrymen ... lend me your ear ...I need your help to make this a success.

SEPTEMBER REFERRALS !!!

Well... referrals hav gone out for the month of September.
A whole 4 days .... Darn it !!!! I'm venting for a moment ... it has taken a year to
do referrals from May 2005 to Nov 25, 2005 ... at this rate .... I could birth 2 elephants.

BUT ... I'm staying the course ... as long as it takes ... as frustrating as it can be.
My heart is in China ... and until I hold my baby girl in my arms ... I'll feel that something
is missing. If I have to wait 6 more months ... I will. If I have to wait 3 more years I will.
It is worth it .. and IT WILL HAPPEN !!!!!!!!!!!

God just doesn't have my baby ready yet. He may be placing each delicate little hair in her head .. one by one .. or he may be designing the little smile that will melt my heart. He is
expertly crafting her little fingers and her sweet little toes ... and when he is ready for me to
meet her, we will meet... and this wait will be so worth it !!!!!

In the mean time ... I've received a couple more gifts. I've posted pictures below.

The pink feather wreath was made by my friend Linda and given to me by her and her daughter Lisa .... isn't it cute.

The rubber duckies came from my friends .. the Browns. Kayleigh B. just turned 2. She celebrated her first gotcha day last Wednesday (Aug 29).

All little reminders that what I am waiting for is a gift from God.
