What a difference 57 pounds make

Thought you all might like some before/after photos. This my sister and me ... Dec 2006...before we started our diets. This is my sister and me now...she's lost 32 lbs ... I've lost 25.7 ..... what a difference !!!!!

da da duh duh duh ... another month bites the dust

Good news today.

I am a step closer to the Review Room. As of 7-27-07 ... all dossiers submitted prior to
June 30, 2006 have been reviewed.

All dossiers submitted prior to 11/14/05 have received referrals.

I'm getting nervous ... only 2 months until completing the review.
I know ... that's not a huge step ... but it is important.

YIPPEE !!!!!!

I am down another 4 pounds. My 11 week total is 25.7 pounds.

Kelley has lost 32.6 pounds.

My First Quilt is DONE !!!!!!

This is my very first quilt. Thanks to all of you who sent squishes (square + wish = squish)
for Mari-Grace's "100 good wishes" quilt.

This one is my practice quilt. It is crib size. I decided to tie it instead of quilting ... will probably quilt the larger one. I am so proud of how this turned out. It isn't perfect ... but I DID IT ALL BY MYSELF !!!!!!!!!!!!

11 months down .... ???? to go

Well...today is July 18, 2007.

I logged in 11 months ago today. It is hard to believe that 11 months have passed so quickly.
However ... it is also hard to believe that I've already waited 11 months ... and I still have so far to go.

I got a new present yesterday from my August DTC "Cyber Shower" buddy.
I've got to get a picture posted ... I'm just running behind.

It is a precious little bikini ... sunglasses ... an inflatable baby pool with toys ... and summer fun scrapbook stickers.

You know, it really does help pass the time by participating in these swaps, and the FCC events here locally. It is hard to believe that in just a few months it will be time for Moon Festival.

Well .... I really should get to sleep, so I'll say good-bye.

Ok ... I heard this song for the first time yesterday. I know it is no where near Christmas, but the words really touched home. Brad and his family are in China right now to get their new daughter, Canaan.

I finally upgraded to DSL high speed internet. HOW COOL IS THAT !!!! I can finally download pictures and stuff on my home computer !!!!!!!!!!!! This is a silly self portrait ... just to see if I could get the photo downloads to work.

I don't know anything new. Have a good weekend.

8 weeks and ....

Weight loss total is 22.5 pounds. I lost 0.9 pounds last week...not a lot ... but it's
a loss at least.

July referrals are in....

the CCAA has made referrals for dossiers submitted
before 11/14/2005......7 days.

Last month was 6 days ... so 7 is an improvement ... not much ... but an improvement.

So .. at this rate ... well ... I should get a referral sometime before I'm 40.
(I'm 34 now ... will be 35 in September.)

ARGGHHH....

The wait will be worth it ... just keep praying for patience for me and some speed up juice for the CCAA.

One more month thru the review room. The CCAA has now reviewed all dossiers thru
May 31, 2006.

What does that mean ... still a VERY LONG WAIT for referrals .... rumor has it that
referrals went out thru Nov 14, 2005 .... bummer ....still just a week at a time....but hey

1 week is better than 2 days anytime.
