FINALLY ... She's sleeping most of the night.
Sunday was a turning point. She slept thru most of the night by herself !!
She still wakes up 2-3 times crying out ... but usually a rock or two in the recliner puts her right back to sleep.
Sometimes, she cries like the bed is made of sharp nails when I lay her down. Can't have her sleeping on anything the most comfy mattress ... so I just put her to bed with me. We both sleep that way !
Her mood during the day is much improved too. She's laughing again and playing instead of crying.
She is so funny. She is learning to make new sounds. She growls now ... it's pretty funny to watch.
She can tell you what noise a cat, dog, and cow make. Watching her say 'moo' is hilarious.
Mari-Grace is still eating well. We tried not to eat in front of her ... but in the last few days, we've learned that if we take part of what we are eating, throw it in the blender and liquify it a bit, then feed her at the same time ... SHE'S THRILLED ! Tonite, she had meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and cream corn. Pureed of course ... but it made her happy.
Nap times are still off a bit. She didn't sleep today. For the first time ever, she fell asleep in her carseat tonight on the way home from Omaw and Poppy's. She stayed asleep when I got her out of the carseat ... and went right to bed. She's sleeping in her clothes, cause MaMa ain't gonna wake her up to change her clothes !!!
Mari-Grace had to get her immunizations today. She got 4 shots. :-(
She already can't stand for us to wipe her nose ... now she's gonna hate going to the doctor's office.
We go to see Dr. Buckmiller again tomorrow. Hopefully we'll get to come out of the NoNo's a bit more, and have some of the dietary restrictions lifted...that should make life better.
Until then .... TOODLES !

The poor kid must be confused. I'd let her sleep with me too. She'll probably get a lot of comfort from it.
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting, I've been thinking about you both! It looks like the road to recovery is going well. Hoping the NoNo's get to come off a bit more - it must drive her crazy!
