Birthday Countdown !!!! 12 more days

MG will turn 3 in 12 more days. My baby will be 3 !!! Can you believe it. Let's see ... in 10 months her life has been changed in ways she could've never imagined possible.

• 1. She got a forever family


• 2. She left her home at the orphanage/foster care and joined 3 crazy women


• 3. She took her first airplane flight


• 4. She took her first train ride (and so did her MaMa)


• 5. She became a world wide traveler (Datong to Taiyuan to Guangzho to Hong Kong to Detroit to Little Rock)


• 6. She met her new extended family an settled in


• 7. Celebrated her first Fourth of July


• 8. She went to Church for the first time


• 9. She had her palate repaired ... lip adhesion ... and tubes in her ears


• 10. She celebrated fall by going to the pumpkin patch


• 11. She celebrated her first Halloween


• 12. She gave the entire family something to be Thankful for at Thanksgiving.


• 13. She met Santa Claus and learned about baby Jesus being born at Christmas.


• 14. Her first helpings of black eye-d peas and hog jowl for New Years


• 15. She was my sweetheart for Valentine's Day


• 16. She learned that she loves to play outside


• 17. She has become quite the independent little miss


• 18. She has a new lip ... one that works !!!!

These are just a few of the changes in her life. She is an amazing little girl.
