A Poem for the Wait

Just a waitin’

There’s a little girl
Across the ocean wide
She’s got pretty black hair
And almond shaped dark eyes.
Although I’ve never seen her
She’s destined to be mine,
Red threads connect our hearts
Over space and throughout time.
I’m going to go and get her
When I finally get the call
But it’s a really long wait
It will drive me up the wall !!!!
I’m just a waitin’
Just a waitin’.
