Prayers for Friends

One of our FCC Families received some potentially devasting news. John and JaNan Davis found out on Thursday that John has an aggressive form of stomach lymphoma. He is currently in CCU and is receiving some really strong Chemotherapy. As of this writing, John seems to be tolerating the Chemo very well. He is blessed to have some wonderful, Christian doctors who have expressed their beliefs in the power of God and the power of prayer. They have asked that we share their Caring Bridge website. Please send up lots of prayers. John and JaNan have 3 lovely daughters. The need our support and prayers.

Another close friend received some devasting news this week. Judy, my good friend from work, learned this week that her best friend, Charlotte, lost her 6 year old grand-daughter to a murder/suicide. The ex-daughter in law shot the little girl, and then killed herself. I can not imagine losing a child in this manner. My heart aches for this family during their time of loss.
Please pray for the Iman (pronounced eye-man) family as they cope with the grief and anger. I pray they find peace in this time of turmoil.
