Airplanes & 2 Year Olds

Ok ... first of all ... we have WAY to much crap with us!!!! By the time we leave Guangzhou, this load has to get lightened !!!

We were looking forward to our guide getting to take us shopping in Taiyuan.
We checked out of the hotel at 2 pm ... only to find bad news. No passport for Mari-Grace.

Emma had set at the police station for 3 hours, and the passport had not arrived.
She made a trip back to the police station after she got us checked out of the hotel. We just waited in the hotel lobby.
STILL NO PASSPORT !!! Apparently the man at the police station was very rude. He made Emma cry...and that doesn't seem to be an easy thing. She assured us that travel should be fine, and she'd see to it the passport got mailed ASAP to us in Guangzhou.

What do you do ????
We flew out of Taiyuan at 5:30 ... no passport for Mari-Grace in hand.
VERY NERVOUS !!!!

Mari-Grace's nap got interupted with hotel check out. Needless to say ... no nap toddlers = TEMPER TANTRUM. Her's just happened to strike as we boarded the plane. OH MY GOODNESS. She was PO'd. All she wanted was for me to stand up and hold her. You can't do that during take-off. Hannah helped me with her. Needless to say, about 8 rows around were looking at me light I was Satan and she was my spawn.
Next thing ... she's ok ... drifting off to sleep....whew !!! That was the longest 20 minutes between boarding and take-off that I've ever sat thru !

After her mad fit...she took a very little nap. The stewardess, brought by the snack boxes. Mari-Grace had tomato.
